El Burro Magnifico

A four minute non-dialogue short filmed by MA Filmmaking students at Goldsmiths College.
Charlie is fascinated with his escapist comicbook "El Burro Magnifico" (champion of the downtrodden).
A bit shy in real life, he decides to dress up as his hero for a costume party only to find himself in a rather sticky situation that actually does require a superhero.

The music was completed in July 2006. The style can be described as “Mariachi Superhero music”.
The trumpet parts were recorded by Jake Painter.
