Technical requirements:


‘Los Musicos’ Wedding Music Band can provide gentle amplification for events of up to 160 people.

For our performance we need an area of at least 3 meters across by 2 meters deep and 2 x 13 amp square pin power points.


If required, we can extend the band with the inclusion of a second percussionist, bass and flute or brass. Please contact us with your specific function requirements and we will customise a solution for you.


A typical presentation of the Latin and Salsa Music Band consists of 2 x 45 minute (or 3 x 30 minutes) sets of music. The style can be cool and relaxed background music or upbeat party tunes.


You can listen to the Latin Band in the Audio samples page. There are examples of: Cumbia, Bossanova, Cuban Son, Currulao, Boleros, Merengue and Cha-cha-cha. You ca see us performing live as a trio at The National Theatre in London in the Video samples page. On the main page you can see Los Musicos on Live National TV for the BBC coverage of the London Olympics (2012) and for Channel’s 5 ‘Gadget Show’ in 2013.


We do perform all across the United Kingdom, where ever there is the need for a salsa function band or for that most special of occasions, when you need a Wedding Music Band.

The Kit:


To guarantee the best possible sound, the duet uses top of the line discrete acoustic equipment.

Guillermo plays Admira guitars into a Roland AC-60 amplifier.

Juan Carlos plays an Alhambra 7FS flamenco guitar into an AER alpha 40 amplifier and the “Cuatro de Puerto Rico”.

Both of them sing into Shure Beta 57A microphones.


When playing as a Latin and Salsa Music trio, we use JBL Eon10 G2 self-powered speakers or if more power is required, we use our Mackie SRM350 v2. This small PA is perfect for providing gentle amplification for Wedding receptions, during Wedding drinks, small Corporate Functions and parties.



* NOTE: All our equipment is PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) certified. This is a requirement for most venues throughout the UK.
