From Colombia and Bristol comes TINTO. The steaming sounds of Cumbia, Champeta and vintage Peruvian Chicha. TINTO brings exciting new compositions with Electric guitar twang, the thumping lines of a doublebass and the pulsating rhythms of Latin percussion. A high energy and cool Tropical offer.
The band innovates with new compositions, arrangements and a few cover versions. To spice things up, the band re-visits some repertoire by the acclaimed guitarist Marc Ribot and the "Cubanos Postizos". Influenced by the stylistic approach of new comers La Lom from Los Angeles, TINTO follows the tradition and legacy of artists like Abelardo Carbonó, the godfather of Colombian champeta guitar.
